Zwilling J.A. Henckels, founded in Solingen, Germany over 275 years ago, is one of the world's oldest knife manufacturers. Henckels, like many global knife manufacturers, has developed both a premium line and a value line of knives and to get the best deal, it's worth knowing the difference.

These knives are primarily manufactured in Germany of forged blades. There are also some mid-range knives manufactured under this logo in Spain which may be forged or stamped.
